Welcome to our charming and completely remodeled 3 Bedroom, 1 Bath, four season lakefront cottage which sleeps 8 on beautiful Little Cedar Lake just outside of West Bend, Wisconsin. Less than 40 minutes from Milwaukee and two hours from Chicago, Little Cedar Lake is a fully recreational lake which covers 246 acres, has a shoreline of 4.5 miles and reaches a maximum depth of 56 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing. Known for its amazing beauty and great fishing, anglers of all ages will enjoy reeling in Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Walleye. For those who enjoy going out on the lake and getting into the water, Little Cedar Lake is home to one of the most popular sand bars in the Midwest.
The property offers 50 feet of frontage, a 50 foot pier, swimming, and family fun activities as well as nearby access to miles of biking and walking trails. For the winter lovers, It is only eight minutes from Little Switzerland Ski Area which offers snowboarding, night skiing, cross country and downhill skiing, snowshoe trails, snow tubing and mountain biking in the summer.
You will love the warm and cozy feel of our newly remodeled and sparkling clean lake house which incorporates natural stone, shiplap, and wood elements throughout. The adorable main living space features homey, traditional furnishings and an open layout makes it easy to get comfortable with friends and family while you enjoy spectacular views of the lake from the newly installed floor to ceiling windows on the entire lake side. There are plenty of your favorite classic board games, puzzles, and playing cards for some old school, unplugged fun as well. You will also find a large wall-mounted TV which includes Roku stick to sign into your favorite apps. We also offer FREE Wi-Fi to all of our guests.
When you enter the kitchen, you’ll be greeted by a warm ambient glow from our accent lighting. You will find it very well stocked with all of the pots, pans, glassware, and serving needed during your stay. In addition to the standard appliances, we also offer a blender, microwave and Keurig for all of your caffeine needs. And, speaking of coffee, there is nothing quite like watching the sunrise over the lake while you enjoy your hot cup of java on the deck.
Our cottage has 3 bedrooms; a master bedroom with a queen size bed, a second bedroom with a queen, and a third with 4 single bunk beds. Although the bedrooms are smaller, new beds, mattresses, and bedding ensure a cozy and relaxing night’s sleep.
To ensure a comfortable stay for all of our guests, we have installed a new central air unit for hot summer days and a new furnace for cold winter nights. We also have a washer and dryer in the unfinished basement.
There is plenty of room in the spacious yard for outdoor games and we also provide a gas grill, 2 kayaks, paddle boat a paddle board as well.
Finally, a vacation on the lake would not be complete without a fire pit under the stars. You’ll have ample room around the fire to enjoy incredible lake views, share stories with friends and family, tell spooky campfire stories, listen to some tunes, and of course cook up some classic and gooey smores.
If you are looking for an “Up North” feel without having to deal with traffic and four or more hours in the car each way, this is the perfect place for you.
